To meet the demand of our nation’s school districts, we need a Technical Support Specialist.
Job Description:
As a Technology Training and Development Specialist you’ll screen applicants to for teletherapy and conduct orientations to prepare these contractors for assignments at school districts. This is a customer-facing role where you’ll be working alongside our technical team in preparing our proprietary software and hardware for deployment.
What you’ll do:
- Review submitted technology screening material from new Soliant applicants.
- Conduct 1-2 hour orientations via Zoom with Soliant candidates preparing to start assignments with schools, training them on our software and processes.
- Assist in creating documentation to proactively address IT problems identified by users.
- Responds to support calls, chats, emails, and/or other user communications, addressing inquiries related to software, hardware, processes, and general questions.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Soft skills are essential, including customer relations excellence, team-oriented collaboration and excellent communication. Fluency in English is required.
- Experience working with Windows, macOS, iOS and Jira Service Management is a plus.
- A hands-on experience in an active Technical Support IT or equivalent role, working with PCs, Mac products and Bluetooth devices. Basic understanding of TCP/IP Protocol Suite, ethernet/WiFi connected devices. Ability to handle a minimum of 10 support calls per day.
- Proficiency in managing and maintaining hardware inventory and user accounts.
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365 Business applications (Office, Word, Excel), Google apps and Zoom.
