Job Summary:
The Principal Software Engineer will lead the design, development, and optimization of software solutions for medical, clinical, and pharmacy revenue cycle management (RCM). With a focus on leveraging Microsoft technologies, this role ensures the delivery of secure, scalable, and high-performing systems to streamline billing, coding, claims management, and payment processes. Expertise in containerization tools such as Docker and Kubernetes is critical for modernizing infrastructure and ensuring seamless deployment. The engineer will collaborate across teams to deliver innovative, regulatory-compliant solutions that address the complex challenges of healthcare and pharmacy RCM.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
10+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 5 years in healthcare revenue cycle management or related domains.
Extensive experience with Microsoft technologies, including .NET Core, ASP.NET, C#, Azure cloud services, and SQL Server.
Expertise in containerization and orchestration tools, including Docker and Kubernetes, for managing scalable and portable deployments.
Strong knowledge of RCM workflows, including billing, coding, claims submission, payment processing, and denial management.
Proven experience integrating with EHR, PMS, and pharmacy management systems.
Preferred Skills:
Familiarity with DevOps tools and practices, including Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins.
Experience with AI/ML technologies for enhancing RCM processes.
Knowledge of payer-provider ecosystems, including Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurance workflows.
Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or Azure Monitor.
Good understanding of basic accounting principles, general ledger accounting, and double-entry bookkeeping.
