Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the
Vice President of Global Sales, you will be responsible for defining and executing Medisca’s sales strategy to drive revenue growth and expand our market presence in key markets, including USA, Canada, Europe, Asia and Australia. You will lead and grow a team of sales, business development and alliance management professionals, establish scalable sales processes, and foster a performance-driven culture. This role requires a strategic thinker with hands-on execution capabilities, deep expertise in [pharmaceutical sales, and a track record of scaling mid-size organizations.
The Opportunity
- Lead sales strategy and team leadership to drive business transformation and deliver sustainable growth as part of a company-wide change initiative.
- Define and implement clear KPIs and revenue goals, enabling the sales team to consistently exceed performance targets.
- Build, scale, and mentor a high-performing global sales team with a focus on accountability, coaching, and results.
- Build a data-driven sales culture with clear forecasting, pipeline management, and performance analytics.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with various departments such as Procurement, Supply Chain, Marketing, and Product Management to align go-to-market efforts.
- Drive customer engagement and advocacy strategies to deepen relationships, enhance customer satisfaction, and convert key accounts into long-term brand champions and growth partners.
- Ensure dedicated focus Dedicate a minimum of 30% of your time to customer interactions and value-add services, gain insights into their challenges and ensure Medisca effectively meet their needs.
- Cultivate strategic relationships with high-value accounts to maximize retention, drive revenue expansion, and identify upsell opportunities.
- Act as a senior company ambassador at industry events and conferences, enhancing brand visibility, fostering strategic partnerships, and strengthening industry influence.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, MBA or other master’s degree is a strong asset
- 10+ years of pharmaceutical experience in sales, with at least 5 years in senior leadership roles with global responsibility
- Proven track record in sales, with experience in customer retention strategies, expansion and growth
- Enterprise sales expertise, including complex sales cycles, C-suite negotiations, and strategic partnerships
- Ability to build sales playbooks, define scalable sales processes, and implement a data-driven approach
- Passion for customer engagement, spending 30%+ of time on key customer
- Proven expertise in building teams, mentoring, and developing high-performing sales and business development professionals
- Strong understanding of the healthcare industry, and preferably the compounding industry
- Leadership, ethical and influential skills
- Exceptional interpersonal, empathetic and networking skills
- Thrives in fast-paced environments and demonstrates resilience under pressure
- Driven, motivated and entrepreneurial mindset is a must
- Highly analytical with strong problem-solving and process optimization skills
- Experience managing large teams across multiple regions and time zones
