Job Description
The Sr. Finance Manager will play a key role in driving financial strategy, business growth, and operational excellence. This person will oversee a team of 4-5 finance and accounting professionals, ensuring accurate financial reporting, insightful analysis, and data-driven decision-making. Beyond technical expertise, this role demands strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills to influence business outcomes and foster collaboration across departments.
The ideal candidate is a creative thinker, self-motivated, and excited to put their stamp on this role—building financial processes, improving reporting, and shaping the future of the company’s financial strategy. This is a hands-on role that requires the ability to dive deep into data, deliver impactful insights, and drive meaningful change.
Sr. Finance Manager responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting to support business objectives.
- Lead and mentor a team of 4-5 finance and accounting professionals, fostering growth and high performance.
- Develop and refine financial models and KPI dashboards that provide visibility into company performance.
- Analyze financial statements, operational metrics, and business trends to identify opportunities for growth and efficiency.
- Partner with senior leadership to provide data-driven insights and strategic recommendations that drive business success.
- Improve and streamline financial processes, reporting structures, and internal controls to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring financial accuracy and compliance.
- Influence cross-functional teams by translating financial insights into actionable business strategies.
- Drive process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance financial reporting and decision-making.
- Stay ahead of industry trends, regulatory changes, and financial best practices to ensure compliance and competitiveness.
Qualifications
Minimum Educational Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or CPA is a plus.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Minimum 7 years of experience in financial analysis, accounting, or a related field, with at least
- Minimum 2 years in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS).
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, financial modeling, and business intelligence tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar).
- Experience working with ERP systems (SAP, NetSuite, Oracle, or similar).
- Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
