Job Summary And Qualifications
This position is responsible to provide support for management and implementation of capital equipment strategic programs for a multi-facility, integrated delivery network (IDN). This position shall be an employee of HealthTrust, dedicated to Tenet Health. The primary objective is to support capital equipment quote submissions with robust review to ensure member terms and conditions are met, and contract compliance is maintained. This position will work closely with IDN supply chain leadership, service line directors, GPO sourcing, IDN strategic sourcing, suppliers, and other key stakeholders to coordinate capital equipment efforts.
This position will be involved in optimization of the GPO contract portfolio, support member standardization and utilization opportunities, and measuring and monitoring the capital equipment quote review system to contribute to the IDNs overall strategic plan as it relates to capital equipment services.
What you will do in this role:
- The position's key area of focus will be the capital equipment quote review system to support members capital needs (purchase, lease, placement) including budgeting, planning, acquisition, and management for routine capital as well as construction/renovation projects and clinical initiatives. The position may have responsibility for other categories for the purposes of development and/or team workload allocation.
- Work with member and supplier to include key contract terms, conditions, and service levels related to equipment requests. This will include pricing and directly managing and negotiating key terms with vendors to ensure all requirements are addressed.
- Collaborates with member to ensure timely compliance for quote review submissions, adheres to turn around time expectations, engages suppliers to address issues, drive savings or standardization initiatives, contract compliance and resolve off-contract issues/exceptions
- Work directly with member to capture and analyze contracts, data and complete analysis and reporting per end-user’s specific needs
- Prepare presentations, executive summaries, and other documentation for customers and HealthTrust team
- Performs other duties as assigned.

What qualifications you will need:
- Bachelor's Degree (Supply Chain, Healthcare, Business, Finance), required
- 5 years of relevant work experience, required
- Healthcare supply chain/GPO knowledge, preferred
- Healthcare capital, purchasing or analytics experience, preferred
