About The Position
We are seekingpassionate and dedicated Special Education Teachersto join our team for the remainder of the school year. These arefull-time, self-contained and inclusion teaching roles with the opportunity to make a significant impact on students in PreK through 5th grade. The ideal candidate will be flexible, patient, and committed to providing inclusive education for students with diverse learning needs.
Qualifications
Required Certifications:
PreK-3rd Certification
K-6 Elementary Education Certification
Preferred Qualifications:
Teacher of the Handicap Certification (a huge plus; allows for teaching any grade level)
Strong classroom management skills and the ability to adapt to diverse student needs.
Experience working with students with a range of disabilities and learning challenges.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Responsibilities
Teach and support students in a PreK self-contained classroom.
Provide instruction and support in Kindergarten inclusion, 1st inclusion, 2nd inclusion, and 3rd inclusion classrooms.
Manage and teach in 2nd and 3rd self-contained classrooms.
Teach in 5th grade inclusion classroom.
Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to students specific needs.
Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to create an inclusive learning environment.
Assess and monitor students' progress, providing interventions as needed.
Maintain accurate records and documentation for each student.
Foster a positive and supportive classroom atmosphere conducive to learning.
Compensation
