Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician II to join our healthcare team in Bel Air. In this role, you will support licensed pharmacists in providing quality pharmaceutical services while ensuring accurate medication dispensing and maintaining proper inventory management.
- Process and fill prescriptions accurately under pharmacist supervision
- Prepare and compound medications following established procedures
- Maintain accurate patient records and prescription information
- Manage inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers for medication stock
- Operate pharmacy management systems and dispensing equipment
- Assist in training new pharmacy technicians
- Provide excellent customer service to patients and healthcare providers
- Implement quality control measures and maintain clean work areas
- Assist with administrative tasks and documentation requirements

Qualifications
- Current Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT) and state licensure
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2-3 years of experience as a pharmacy technician
- Proven experience with prescription processing and inventory management
- Proficiency in pharmacy management systems and medication dispensing equipment
- Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical terminology and medications
- Understanding of pharmacy laws, regulations, and safety protocols
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical mindset
