PURPOSE: Reporting to the Digital Experience Manager, the Event Technology Specialist will maintain audiovisual conferencing equipment in our Evansville, Indiana facilities, manage small and large-scale in-person and remote events, facilitate executive-level global webinars, and help determine virtual meeting standards for our company.
Responsibilities
Coordinate and manage audio visual systems, integrated rooms, and virtual meeting technology uin our Evansville, Indiana headquarters, local and regional facilities.
Manager both small and large-scale events/meetings involving senior executive staff
Provide remote support to all our facilities to ensure that event/meeting needs are met and the equipment/software is working properly
Ability to work outside normal office hours to setup, test and execute events on a global scale
Maintain an understanding of related technical solutions including Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Poly, SharePoint, and other Microsoft Platforms
Assist with Berry’s Digital Signage and Guest Check-In platforms
Ensure system compliance with data security and privacy requirements
Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field, or equivalent working experience
Strong technical aptitude, problem solving, organizational, communication, and project management
Ability to travel as necessary Collaborate with IT, HR & Marketing teams on new initiatives; Non-local travel requirements: 0-10%
Interest / understanding in Office 365, A/V, video conferencing equipment and digital signage is a must to be successful in this role
Familiarity with recording and or streaming software is preferred
Understanding of sound mechanics is preferred
Ability to keep information confidential is required
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
