Job Description

  • Develops and advances novel molecules with a complete understanding of scientific aspect.
  • Planning and implementation of novel approaches to drug discovery and development independently or in conjunction.
  • Designing and synthesis of novel molecules (NCE and prodrugs) of assigned project with respective goals
  • Co-ordination for IP and comp-chem screening (whenever applicable) for designed molecules & subsequent patent filing
  • Co-ordination with different CROs and CMOs to ensure timely synthesis of designed compounds with real-time communication over email and weekly teleconferences
  • Actively troubleshooting the challenges faced during synthesis and development of lead molecules to fast-track pre-clinical drug discovery and regulatory submissions
  • Co-ordination with pharmacology/DMPK team members for further screening of key molecules for advancement of project with data interpretation
  • Compound data & library management and shipment co-ordination on routine basis.
  • Well verse with CADD
