Designs learning content, SCORM compliant eLearning and training programs to be delivered both online and by instructor led sessions. Conducts live training sessions in the classroom and/or at customer sites. Works collaboratively with internal and external customers, Swisslog Healthcare technical staff - including engineers, software developers and architects - , product center staff, and Customer Care to develop and deliver training in support of business objectives and to improve the overall learning experience. Develops, evaluates, and improves training content and materials for internal and external audiences. Maintains awareness of learning design, development, and delivery tools.
Your collaboration
- Design and develop engaging learning products that enhances information retention and transfer of knowledge.
- Work with subject matter experts to identify target audience's learning needs
- Utilize instructional graphics and animations to enhance learning of the user interface, and to enrich the finished learning product
- Apply tested instructional design theories, practice and methods, create training aids and handouts as needed.
- Provide exercises, activities and material/media (audio, video, simulations, role plays, games etc.) to enhance the learning process.
- Develop learning content for all delivery modalities including classroom, onsite, and online learning.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts and product center to develop and refine “best practices” for customers, and internal business teams.
- Map learning objectives to the appropriate performance assessment tool to validate a learner’s achievement.
- Document all facets of a learning product for maintenance and backup.
- Conduct instructor led live training for customer and internal audiences, including lecture, demonstration, interactive exercises, and knowledge assessments.
- Provide Learning Management System (LMS) administration and maintain full knowledge of LMS administration and operation.
- Performs other duties, as assigned.
Your competence
- 2-year degree in technical, educational or business discipline, related military experience or equivalent
- Proven working experience in instructional design, development, and deployment
- Working knowledge of instructional technology, specifically with Articulate 360 suite
- Excellent knowledge of learning theories, instructional design models, lesson design and agile development methods
- Detailed knowledge of course deployment software and at least one Learning Management System
- Effective writing skills for writing instructional text, audio scripts/video scripts, simulations, and assessments
- Excellent public speaking and presentation skills
Desirable, but not Essential:
- Working knowledge of Adobe Captivate
- Awareness of hospital operational environment
- BS degree in technical or training discipline
Salary range for this position is $67,000 - $80,000. Salary will be commensurate with experience and skillset. We offer a comprehensive benefits package including medical / dental / vision insurance, tuition reimbursement, disability, 401k matching (up to 8%).
