What We Are Looking For
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Supply Chain Coordinator to provide planning, analysis, and operational support for our global supply chain. This role is critical in optimizing supply chain processes, ensuring effective distribution, and improving material flow within our organization. The Supply Chain Coordinator will demonstrate industry-leading knowledge and expertise in global supply chain management concepts, processes, and systems, while overseeing the purchasing and logistics departments.
What You Will Do
- Investigate and recommend alternative production and warehouse layouts to improve efficiency, including material replenishment methods and right-sizing operations.
- Develop, implement, and maintain processes to enhance material flow, increase productivity, and provide new capacity within existing facilities.
- Create and manage current and future state value stream and process maps for EAGLE.
- Write and manage capital projects, purchase requisitions, work orders, and special interplant transfers, ensuring the timely procurement of equipment and services.
- Assist in the development and optimization of strategic tools to enhance and align the global supply chain with organizational goals.
- Conduct data analysis and present findings to drive decisions that optimize supply chain operations.
- Create and maintain computer rules to control the location of incoming materials, production, and finished goods.
- Support special projects related to supply chain improvements and process efficiencies.
- Collaborate with procurement, logistics, sales, production, marketing, and R&D to align strategies and optimize supply chain operations.
- Ensure departmental objectives are aligned with corporate goals and customer service standards.
- Manage procurement and logistics teams to support multiple locations and achieve cost-efficiency.
- Monitor vendor performance to ensure delivery, quality, and pricing standards are met.
- Oversee inventory management to maintain optimal levels and reduce costs.
- Mentor staff, develop training plans, and promote continuous improvement within the team.
- Coordinate activities among operational departments to ensure an effective production plan and meet service commitments.
- Drive process improvement by recommending changes to improve methods, performance, and quality of service.
- Ensure compliance with all Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations.
- Travel up to 10% as required.
Who You Are
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Engineering, or a Business-related field; an MBA is a plus. Alternatively, a Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis on distribution operations (e.g., Material Handling, Logistics) or eight years of experience in logistics and supply chain management.
- 5 plus years of experience in supply chain operations, with strong expertise in procurement, logistics, and inventory management.
- At least 5 years of successful procurement experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience working with ERP/Demand Planning software (e.g., SAP, MFG/Pro).
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and SharePoint.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and time management abilities.
- Ability to influence change and drive process improvement in a collaborative team environment.
- Strong understanding of supply chain management concepts, processes, and systems.
- Ability to develop organizational strategies and implement key performance indicators to achieve world-class supply chain standards.
- Experience in change management and cost reduction initiatives.
