This position is for a professional Technical Writer with experience in creating user guides, release notes and other documentation associated with software releases. Additionally, the Technical Writer may also be tasked with the development (or assisting in the development) of online learning content for customer usage.
On an ongoing basis, you will work with internal stakeholders and SMEs to create accurate, engaging, and easy-to-use customer-facing User Guides, Release Notes, and other learning content to be hosted on our Learning Management System (LMS).
Successful applicant will be responsible for the following:
Creating initial customer-facing user guides, release notes, and other associated documentation for a commercial software product
Maintaining software documentation in alignment with future release cadences
Updating and maintaining online learning content
Meeting with internal stakeholders to determine technical documentation and online learning needs
Working with product SMEs to ensure technical accuracy of content
Regularly attending product and internal team meetings
Reporting out on status at organizational and team meetings
Traveling to attend in-person team or organizational meetings (typically less than twice/year)
Minimum Requirement
Degree or equivalent and typically requires 4+ years of relevant experience.

Ability to work with minimal supervision
Ability to write clear, concise, grammatically correct instructions
Strong skills with Adobe InDesign and/or Adobe Pro
Strong skills with MS Office Suite including MS Teams
Preferred Skills
Familiarity with Articulate 360, specifically Rise
Familiarity with adult learning principles
Familiarity with basic Instructional Design principles
