Rx relief is looking for the right person to fill a Pharmacist - Mail Order position right now.

The Pharmacist - Mail Order position blends pharmaceutical and organizational responsibilities, and requires a professional who is highly proficient in both areas. Work closely with the Pharmacist to fill prescriptions and ensure an efficient pharmacy environment.

Job Specifics and Requirements:

Area: Jeffersonville, IN
Licensure Requirements: Must have open, active, and in good standing IN State Pharmacist License
Years of Experience: 6 months+
Setting: Mail Order
Background/ Drug Requirements: Must be willing to submit to a background check, health and drug screen.

Pharmacist - Mail Order

Job Responsibilities:

• Review and verify prescription orders for accuracy and appropriateness
• Enter prescription information into the pharmacy management system
• Evaluate drug interactions and contraindications
• Communicate with healthcare providers to clarify prescriptions or resolve issues
• Counsel patients on medication use, side effects, and storage via phone or email
• Oversee the preparation and packaging of medications for mail delivery
• Ensure compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations
• Maintain accurate patient records and prescription documentation
• Collaborate with team members to improve workflow efficiency
• Stay updated on new medications, drug therapies, and industry trends
• Participate in quality assurance programs and continuous improvement initiatives
• Assist in inventory management and ordering of medications
• Handle patient inquiries and concerns in a professional and timely manner
• Provide guidance and support to pharmacy technicians as needed

Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $70.00 Per Hour
All compensation and pay rates are dependent upon skills and experience.
