Job Title: Hand Fulfillment
Job Summary
Responsible for daily inserting of production statement jobs so they are completed per published SLA’s and quality standards. Works closely with the machine operators on their team to make sure team and department goals are met. The primary external customers are our statement clients and our pre-sort house (PSI). The primary internal customers are the Team Printer, Inserter, and the Materials Coordinator.
Essential Functions
- Ensure quality of mailing
- Verify statement paper is correct for current job
- Verify outer and return envelopes are correct for current job
- Verify inserts are correct for current job
- Validate right counts at end of jobs
- Find, move and hand insert jobs that are inserted off line
- Work with insert machine operators to accurately complete each job
- Use correct Business Reply Envelopes & Inserts during hand Inserting
- Accurately track progress on jobs using company’s tracking system
- Off-load finished mail pieces onto mail trays & move carts to appropriate area
- Package jobs and create FedEx/UPS labels for pieces and stage in shipping area as appropriate

Specific Job Skills:
- General computer knowledge preferred
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple customers’ jobs concurrently
- Strong attention to detail
- Reading: simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
- Writing: simple correspondence, routine reports
- Mathematical: basic arithmetic and weight measurement
- Reasoning: apply common sense to carry out simple instructions; solve practical problems
- Must be flexible with work schedule

Language Skills
Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from a variety of both internal and external sources.
