The role of packager will handle manual and/or automated put up of all blister, form/fill/seal, hospital pack and allergist tray products. Associate will have a general knowledge of al packaging equipment which will enable safe operation of equipment through breaks, clearing jams, stopping and restarting machine as needed.
This is for A shift, 6:30am- 6:30pm
Essential Responsibilities (included But Are Not Limited To)
Follow all company safety rules, regulations and job safety analysis
Must complete plant lock out procedures and key interrupt
Fill and operate shelf carton erector and clear minor jams
Responsible for quality of product including but not limited to
Discarding obviously defective packages, removing and saving syringes.
Checking packaging for correct count
Checking for damage to syringe
Inserting brochures as required
Palletizing finished product and attaching proper pallet card
Operating semi-auto tape machine
Performing minor duties not requiring mechanic attention
Good hand-eye coordination and repetitive hand, wrist and arm movements
Keep work area clean
Final clean up at end of shift
Must take personal responsibility in all aspects of the job, hold team members to safety standards/regulations/GMP and policies
Perform other duties as assigned by Team Leader and required to support the needs of the business

Basic Requirements
High school Diploma or GED
Read, write, and speak English
Basic computer keyboard & navigational skills including Microsoft Office
