The Role:
We are seeking a proactive and skilled IT professional to join our team, where you’ll play a key role in maintaining and optimizing the security, performance, and availability of our IT infrastructure. You will be responsible for managing and supporting computers, servers, and networks across multiple sites in a dynamic Windows environment. This position requires a strong commitment to ensuring seamless operations and a secure, high-performance network.
The role involves a regular schedule of Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, with occasional overtime for weekend system updates and special projects as needed. You may also be required to travel occasionally and provide on-call support when needed.
What you’ll do:
- Maintain and ensure security, availability & performance of computers, servers and networks in a multi-site Windows Server LAN/WAN/WLAN environment.
- Install, troubleshoot and maintain switches, routers, wireless access points and firewalls.
- Manage VMware virtual infrastructure including ESXi hosts, vCenter, and vSAN to ensure high availability and optimal performance.
- Administer Windows servers including MS SQL, Exact MAX ERP, Great Plains/Dynamics, AutoCAD, and others.
- Implement and maintain endpoint management solutions using SCCM and Intune for efficient management of company devices.
- Configure Dell servers using iDRAC for remote management and monitoring, ensuring hardware stability and performance.
- Create Powershell, Python and PowerAutomate scripts to automate repetitive and complex tasks.
- Manage & monitor backup systems. Regularly test and verify restore capabilities.
- Ensure availability of network services (DNS, DHCP, Active Directory, NPS).
- Assist with disaster recovery planning, events and the recovery of vital information.
- Interact with internet service providers to resolve external connectivity issues.
- Work with vendor support contacts as needed to resolve technical issues.
- Effectively troubleshoot problems reported by employees & follow-up to ensure satisfactory resolution.
- Clearly document all I.S. procedures and follow best practice change management for configuration changes to I.S. systems
- Research solutions to enhance or replace existing hardware and software.
Who you are:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field.
- 3+ years of relevant experience working in a Windows Server 2016-2025 Active Directory LAN/WAN environment.
- Requires Network+, Microsoft MCSA/MCSE or similar industry certifications.
- Well versed in standard concepts, practices, and procedures of Systems and Network Administration.
- Proficient in using productivity and presentation software, as well as hardware and network diagnostic tools, to ensure optimal system performance.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, capable of conveying technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Uses experience and judgment to plan and execute tasks, consistently meeting project goals and deadlines.
- Highly motivated to quickly learn new technologies and stay ahead of industry trends.
- Skilled in troubleshooting and prioritizing issues to resolve them efficiently.
- Proactive and self-driven, able to identify and address potential problems before they arise.
- Adaptable in dynamic environments, capable of meeting changing requirements and tight deadlines.

- Experience in a manufacturing or healthcare environment.

Compensation:
The estimated base annual salary range for this position is $72,428 to $ 97,992, though a candidate’s base annual salary shall be determined on a range of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications and experience. This position may additionally be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
