Position Summary
As a
Market Development Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in driving demand and expanding our business through a strategic, national initiative-based approach. Your focus will be on targeting and cultivating specific customer growth opportunities, prioritized according to our current business needs.
This role demands exceptional flexibility and adaptability, as priorities and initiatives may shift rapidly in response to the dynamic healthcare landscape. Your ability to pivot quickly and consistently deliver outstanding results will be key to your success and to the continued growth of our organization.
Location: US Remote - Pacific or Central Time Zone
What will you do?
- Educate healthcare providers on how our products may improve clinical outcomes.
- Develop and grow market share based on select growth initiatives.
- Advise medical office staff on how to properly order and interpret tests.
- Use Salesforce.com and ShowPad to accurately and effectively track activity and update leads, accounts, and opportunity information.
- Work with reference laboratory and health system counterparts to identify key targets and secure appointments with offices for virtual or in-person product presentations.
- Design unique solutions by making use of all available resources within The Binding Site to fulfill business demands.
- Support health systems and reference labs with new test menu rollouts and instrument funnel acceleration.
- Extend availability, offering product expertise to support online virtual meeting requests.
- Discuss customer feedback with Marketing and Laboratory Sales Team members to uncover existing business limitations and work toward solution delivery.
- Facilitate meetings for training purposes among internal constituents and external influencers.
- Ability to travel, sometimes requiring overnight stays for national, regional, or local team meetings.

Non-Negotiable Hiring Criteria:
- Bachelor's Degree
- Minimum of three years’ sales experience in either Laboratory, Medical Device, or Diagnostics Sales.
- Proven track record of success.
- Knowledge and experience with business software applications including MS Outlook Suite and virtual communication tools like Microsoft Teams.
Compensation And Benefits
The salary range estimated for this position based in Florida is $76,000.00–$113,000.00.
