As a Pharmacist In Charge, you will be responsible for maintaining productivity and quality standards, as well as legal and company compliance, as you assist in the preparation of prescriptions in a variety of settings.

Job Specifics and Requirements:

Area: Mobile, AL

Licensure Requirements: Must have open, active, and in good standing AL Pharmacist License

Education: Pharm. D.

Experience Needed: 2 years

Schedule: Monday - Friday

Pay: $66.00 - $68.00 DOE

Background/ Drug Requirements: Ability to successfully complete background check, health and drug screen

Pharmacist In Charge 

Job Responsibilities:

• Oversee all aspects of the compounding pharmacy operation
• Ensure compliance with USP standards, state and federal regulations
• Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs)
• Manage quality assurance and quality control programs
• Supervise and train pharmacy staff on proper compounding techniques
• Review and approve all compounded medication formulations
• Perform complex sterile and non-sterile compounding
• Conduct regular audits and inspections of the compounding facility
• Manage inventory of compounding ingredients and supplies
• Collaborate with healthcare providers on customized medication solutions
• Stay current with latest compounding practices and regulations
• Implement and maintain a robust documentation system
• Oversee equipment maintenance and calibration
• Participate in continuing education and professional development activities
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues related to compounded medications
• Manage relationships with vendors and suppliers
• Ensure proper storage and handling of all compounding materials
• Conduct staff meetings and performance evaluations
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth pharmacy operations
• Represent the pharmacy in regulatory inspections and audits
