Reconciliation Clerk
The Reconciliation Clerk provides reconciliation services to FDS Amplicare customers. This entry level position’s primary responsibilities involve the transferring of data from paper formats (paper EOBs) provided by our customers into FDS Amplicare Reconciliation applications.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Input of data from paper Explanation of Benefits (EOB) forms received for non-electronic 835 remittance forms into FDS Amplicare Reconciliation applications.
- Electronic filing of customer claims information into FDS Amplicare SharePoint site.
- Support Senior Analyst and Onboarding team’s efforts to establish electronic receipt of 835 forms from third-party payers.
- Completion of weekly scorecard reports of paper EOBs for assigned stores.
- Assist Reconciliation Analyst with weekly reconciliation.
- Prepare and maintain spreadsheets and reports.
- Maintain absolute confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA guidelines for corporate and customer information.
- Promote and adhere to FDS’s mission, core values and vision
- Maintain satisfactory attendance in accordance with policy.
- Other duties as assigned.
Skills and Abilities:
- Beginner or intermediate of MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Proficiency in general office automation including operation of copy/scanner machines.
- Ability to understand and apply standard operating procedures.
- Strong basic mathematical skills.
- Minimum typing speed of thirty-five (35) words per minute and ten-key by touch.
- Ability to establish/maintain cooperative working relationships with staff and customers.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Self-starter, capable of working with minimal supervision. Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Prioritize and plan work activities; use time efficiently.
- Treat people with respect; uphold organizational values.
- Ability to manage stressful situations.
- Respond promptly to customer or team needs.
- Excellent attendance and punctuality required.
This position pays 15 dollars an hour, and is required to be onsite in our Fort Worth Office.
Basic Qualification:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
Preferred:
- Billing or reconciliation experience preferred
- Pharmacy industry knowledge preferred
- 10 Key Typing highly desired.
