The role of the Business Analyst will be to serve as the point of contact for questions and issues from internal business partners related to Compensation applications and tools. Will be responsible for analyzing inquiries, performing root cause analysis, and act as a liaison between Oracle Applications Labs (OAL) team and the business.

Responsibilities
Provides programs to improve operational efficiency, consistency, and compliance in support of the organization's financial and tactical business objectives. Provides business practices and processes. Develops, communicates, and trains the organization on business practices and processes.
The role of the Business Analyst will be to serve as the point of contact for questions and issues from internal business partners related to Compensation applications and tools. Will be responsible for analyzing inquiries, performing root cause analysis, and act as a liaison between Oracle Applications Labs (OAL) team and the business.
Other responsibilities will include:
- Field internal customer inquiries and answer questions related to Compensation Applications and Tools
- Analyze and resolve issues identified by the business
- Maintain issue statuses in various tools and applications
- Manage technical enhancements and projects to meet business needs
- Work with OAL to log and track systems issues
- Establish strong working relationship with Global Incentive Planning organization
- Manage reoccurring global status calls with the business and OAL
- Complete Fiscal Year setup and midyear updates for Compensation Systems and Tools
Qualifications:
- BA/BS preferably in Business Administration or Operations
- Minimum of five years of professional work experience working as an analyst
- Proficient at analyzing and manipulating data in Excel
- Experience writing and running reports to query data
- Solid problem solving and decision making skills
- Flexibility and willingness to work extended hours during peak periods
- Ability to work independently and learn by trial and error
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Prior project management experience a plus
- Prior sales compensation or applications operations experience a plus
- Familiarity with Oracle Applications is a plus

US: Hiring Range in USD from $24.62 - $48.03 per hour; from: $51,200 - $99,900 per year. May be eligible for equity.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
