The Sr. Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst will play a critical role in driving the financial strategy and operational efficiency of AssistRx. This position involves reviewing, analyzing, and tracking financial and operational data from multiple sources to support strategic company objectives. The Sr. Analyst will collaborate with various teams including Finance, Accounting, and Business leadership to develop sophisticated financial models, prepare projections, and execute thorough research and analysis aligned with business needs.
In this role, you will be expected to contribute to various financial activities such as planning, analysis, budgeting, and reporting. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills are essential, as well as the ability to communicate complex financial information in a clear and concise manner.
Lead the financial planning and analysis processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for responsible departments and programs
Develop and maintain complex financial models to support projections, analyze profitability and assess strategic initiatives
Partner with business leaders to develop models and reporting that provide actionable insights to operational leaders
Develop and maintain product and program profitability models
Analyze financial performance and provide actionable insights to senior management
Prepare and present detailed financial reports and dashboards
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business planning and performance management
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance financial reporting and analysis
Mentor and guide junior analysts within the team
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
4-7 Years of Experience in FP&A or similar role
Strong proficiency in financial modeling and advanced Excel skills, including clean and efficient Excel formatting
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information clearly and concisely
Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities
High attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to develop excel models from scratch
Comfortable working with varying levels of data availability and data standardization to develop both top-down and bottom-up analyses
Preferred:
Multi-year / Long-Rang Planning experience
Experience facilitating reviews and presentations with Senior Leadership
Working knowledge of three-statement financial modeling
Experience in a fast-paced, dynamic industry
Experience with reporting tools (such as Power BI), organizing data structure and developing dashboards from scratch
