Quality Control Lead
This position reports directly to the Quality Manager. The role is responsible for general support of the Quality Department.

Essential Functions:
- Daily leadership of employees who are responsible for Quality Control activities.
- Provide strong people leadership with a focus on creating/maintaining a positive work environment through effective communication, performance management, accountability, etc. This includes time and attendance review and maintenance for all department employees.
- Ensure all SOPs are current, and training on SOPs and processes remains current.
- Analyze Quality Control efficiencies downtime and waste. Lead teams to improve the results. Participate in finding a “better way”.
- Write investigations and CAPA actions for non-conformances in the department. Work with Production to quickly resolve any variance or deviations so that Quality product is manufactured. Lead Problem Solving activities and root cause analysis.
Supervisory Responsibilites:
Experience and Necessary Skills:
- 1 year previous leadership or comparable experience preferred.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in Quality.
- Knowledge of cGMP guidelines/regulations.
- High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Strong problem solving such as Six Sigma and Lean training, Green Belt or Black Belt preferred
- Demonstrated written and oral communications skills including strong presentation skills.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Strong results orientation.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills with proficiency in the use of spreadsheets and word processing programs

Shift: Monday-Friday 3:30pm-12am
