Job Description Summary

Uses skills and abilities to install, inspect, assemble, troubleshoot, repair, adjust, calibrate, constructs, and maintain equipment, parts, and facilities. Documents activities.

Follows blueprints, manuals, and other written or verbal instructions.

Uses tools, equipment, machinery, or instruments appropriate to the task to install, inspect, assemble, troubleshoot, repair, adjust, calibrate, construct, and maintain equipment, parts and facilities

Operates company vehicles

Maintains cleanliness and orderliness of work area

Documents activities

Performs tests

Makes plans for carrying out work

Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements:

Preferred: Experience and/or training related to pharmaceutical or similar equipment, facilities, and documentation

Appropriate college degree Knowledge Proficiency in a body of information required for the job e.g. knowledge of FDA regulations, GMP/GLP/GCP, Lean Manufacturing, Six-Sigma, etc.

In order to be eligible for this position, journeyman status or equivalent in the trade or specialty designated by management as currently necessary is required. Experience or education must establish knowledge and ability to perform the technical, reading, documentation, and mathematical requirements of the job.

Abilities Physical Requirements Physical & Mental Requirements

e.g. lift 40 pounds, walk across plant/warehouse, business travel (% of time), driving as part of work responsibilities, etc.

Required to reach with hands and arms and frequently required to use hands to finger, handle or feel.

Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision

Frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts

Frequently exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals

The noise level is moderate

Work environment is a production/manufacturing environment
