Reporting to Sr Manager of the Finance Project Management Office (Finance PMO), this position is viewed as an integral member of the Finance Transformation Office.
The
Finance Project Management Advisor will be responsible for managing and leading complex & cross functional projects (i.e., Execute Digital Road-map Initiatives, Process transformation, Transitions, M&A integrations, etc.) within the Zebra Finance organization. This role will gain valuable exposure to a wide breadth of areas and functions across Zebra. Although they will be directing team members on their project teams, this is an individual contributor role with no direct managerial responsibilities and there is potential for job rotation and growth.
Responsibilities:
- Manages and leads finance projects (i.e. Policy, or process transformation, define and execute digital roadmap)
- Creates a clear project Scope statement and builds a supporting plan which effectively factors in resource availability, task durations and dependencies, budgets and costs. Includes simple Risk Management plans.
- Informs the Finance Leadership Team on the progress of project completion including the achievement of desired outcomes and appropriately raise and communicate risks, actions, issues, decisions needed
- Ensures projects are delivered timely per scope, schedule, within budget and with favorable survey results
- Provides regular status updates to key stakeholders, captures meeting minutes and monitor follow-up actions
- Translates project impacts to change management communications
- Performs other duties as may be reasonably assigned within the jobholder’s capability.
- Independently engages additional resources as needed to address obstacles or delays. Adjusts the plan per management guidelines as delays or obstacles are experienced
- Can use business/process expertise to identify potential issues, challenge assumptions and effectively participate in solutions discussions. Able to use this knowledge in status updates and presentations, and provide clarifying information where necessary
- May oversee the work of or directly supervise Project Managers and/or Project Coordinators
- Implementing large scale North America and Global Innovation Community of Practice to create a more efficient and scalable digital capabilities partnering with Zebra’s Finance and Finance Shared Services teams and lead organizational change across projects within the finance organization.
- Lead Global Finance Innovation functional workouts to identify problems, bottlenecks or automation initial idea collection, prioritization, solutioning new opportunities, solution delivery and ongoing tracking.
- Recommends alternative opportunities to increase efficiency and effectiveness
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 8+ years of relevant experience required
Preferred Skills and Competencies:
- Intermediate to advanced communication and facilitation skills
- Formal training preferred
- Intermediate to advanced presentation skills. Demonstrated comfort in presenting to mid to senior level cross functional audiences
- Demonstrated working knowledge of advanced concepts with project management approaches, tools and methodologies. PMP certification preferred
- Intermediate to advanced skills in PC based documentation tools including MS Office and MS Project
- Intermediate to advanced skills in delegation and follow up
- Demonstrated working knowledge / experience of technical business unit assigned to (Engineering, Supply Chain, etc.)
- Ability to work cross-functionally with all levels of the organization
- Solid organizational skills
- Strong problem-solving skills

Salary: USD 106800.00 - USD 160200.00 Yearly
Salary offered will vary depending on your location, job-related skills, knowledge, and experience.
Additionally, all Zebra roles are eligible for cash incentive programs. For example, sales roles have additional opportunity to earn substantial variable compensation tied to quota achievement. In most other roles, the Zebra annual cash incentive program links Company and individual performance together. Some roles may also be eligible for long-term incentive equity awards.
