An experienced Litigation Associate Attorney is sought for Frier Levitt's New York City office.
The Associate Attorney will be responsible for:
- Drafting motions in federal and state courts
- Drafting discovery requests and responses/objections to discovery requests
- Preparing for and taking depositions
- Working on commercial arbitrations and government investigations
- Drafting correspondence
- Negotiating settlement
- Developing case strategies and pitching-in for trials and final hearings
Requirements:
- Admitted in NY
- 3+ years' experience in Federal court litigation required
- Any commercial litigation and/or government investigation experience preferred (e.g., AUSA, Attorney General's Office or private practice)
- Healthcare/Life Sciences experience a plus
- Must have outstanding research and writing skills
- Minimum law school GPA of 3.0 preferred
- Must be willing to work in the office the majority of the time
