The Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) team can provide you the opportunity to build and operate a suite of massive scale, integrated cloud services in a broadly distributed, multi-tenant cloud environment. Our TPMs have a significant business impact crafting and building new systems to power our customers business critical applications. You will work on delivery of various OCI services, including cloud migration service and leading enterprise hybrid cloud service.

Your Role

As the Program Manager, you will be working across a multi-functional team that understands our business and its objectives to help coordinate and manage Engineering Community programs such as organizing and scheduling engineering design reviews, follow-up on key deliverables, and project manage technical features.

You will collaborate closely with various OCI services teams, including engineers, architects, product management teams to understand program goals, their priorities, help monitor their product features, product backlog and help facilitate design reviews.

You should possess good problem-solving skills, exhibit strong interpersonal skills, and have excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s in Information Technology or related field
  • 4+ years of experience in managing medium to large scale technical programs spanning multiple teams and organizations, from conception to delivery
  • High ownership with a strong bias for action
  • Ability to lead multiple programs operating concurrently
  • Maturity, judgment, negotiation/influence skills, analytical skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability create effective relationship and influence engineers, architects. TPM/PM and product managers across the org

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • With the growth trajectory of OCI, and more design features, we need a strong Technical Program Manager to manage, schedule and coordinate engineering design features to support the growth of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure
  • In this role, the successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to program manage multiple projects, build strong working relationship with various stakeholders across engineering disciplines and OCI service teams.
  • The candidate will exhibit strong attention to details, track project pipeline, monitor changes and coordinate with engineers to schedule design review sessions.
  • Possess good inter-personal skills, influence and negotiate with stakeholders to help prioritize tasks and deliverables.
  • Use data driven analytics to identify and drive new opportunities for improvement within the engineering community programs.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or relevant technical field or equivalent work experience
  • Good understanding about public cloud infrastructure services, such as Compute, Storage, Identity and Networking

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $66,100 - $141,200 per year. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
