Job Summary

The Global Process Lead, SAP Supply Planning will lead end-to-end process and system design with the ability to identify gaps between the current and new SAP platforms, set the requirements and own the design for the new global solutions and processes in S4 HANA. This role sits within the Global Supply Chain Center of Excellence team and works closely with the Business Process Owners, Super Users, Digital and Transformation support team, and S4 HANA Project teams.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Conduct Super User meetings for process area
  • Assess Super User effectiveness; coach for capability building
  • Develop User Acceptance Testing; facilitate testing activities with Super Users
  • Build and maintain training materials
  • Identify process and system improvement opportunities
  • Escalate issues, identify root cause and corrective actions to enhance process controls
  • Drive action planning: Plan and execute break/fixes, enhancements and project milestones per plan
  • Champion and drive end-user adoption of SAP solutions in the organization
  • In partnership with Business Process Owners (BPOs), develop goals and objectives related to process area
  • Drives internal and external research and application of best practices within process area
  • Acts as the ambassador for measurement, accountability and a disciplined approach to process improvement
  • Drives collaboration across functional and geographical boundaries as required by enterprise wide, end to end, cross functional processes
  • Interpret and draw insights from ticket trends and create corrective/preventative action plans
  • Promote a culture that embraces system-driven solutions
  • Other duties as assigned

Additional Responsibilities

  • Defining requirement solutions and developing processes across the impacted functional areas in SAP Supply Planning, including assessment of interfaces and gaps.
  • Driving required process enhancements in close collaboration with planning teams and Digital and Transformation.
  • Managing stakeholders across functions and at different levels across process functions SAP Supply Planning.

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree in supply chain, computer science, data analytics, statistics, or related field; or equivalent work experience required

Work Experience

  • Minimum 8 years in pharmaceutical services manufacturing or similar industry required

Preferred Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

  • Experience in process improvement techniques and methods such as Lean, Six Sigma, etc.
  • Previous roles in process harmonization, analytics, data mining, and process governance
  • Strong Knowledge of and experienced user of ERP tools such as SAP, S4 HANA, SAP BI
  • Deep Experience in process area Supply Planning execution and processes
  • Possesses strong written and verbal communication skills, including presentation
  • Possesses strong organizational and prioritization skills
  • Can articulate technical concepts to a non-technical audience
  • Superior problem-solving abilities; applies good judgement
  • Can work effectively with all levels of management and staff
  • Flexible; embraces change, possesses a positive attitude

License and Certifications

  • Manufacturing\Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM)-APICS preferred
  • Manufacturing\Lean Six Sigma Certification-IASSC or Agile preferred
  • Program and Project Management\Certified Project Management Professional (PMP)-PMI preferred

Additional Requirements

  • Able to routinely use standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with written and oral skills, make quick decisions, interpret data, read and write, speak in front of groups, express and exchange ideas, understand direction and adhere to procedures
  • Organizational skills will enable planning, prioritization and achievement of goals especially of importance for the successful execution of related activities
  • Read and interpret data, information and documents
  • Must maintain the ability to work well with others in a variety of situations
  • Must be able to multi-task, work under time constraints, problem solve, and prioritize
  • Ability to make independent and sound judgments
  • Observe and interpret situations, analyze and solve problems

Travel Requirements

10%: Up to 26 business days per year

Physical Requirements

Sedentary-Exerting up to 10lbs/4kgs of force occasionally, and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time.
