Amneal Pharmaceuticals is looking for a highly motivated Market Access Intern to support the Pricing, Forecasting, and Contracting (PFC) Team within the Market Access and Trade (MA&T) Group in the Commercial Specialty Medicine Business Unit. This team plays a crucial role in ensuring access to Amneal’s products by collaborating with major health insurance companies and pharmacy benefit managers. The intern will work on key projects related to pricing strategies, payer contracts, market research, and business operations, gaining valuable experience in pharmaceutical market access.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Assist with consolidation and analysis of monthly payer invoices to support Quarterly Business Reviews.
  • Review contract redlines and provide administrative support for the contracting team.
  • Manage and maintain the contract management system (ClickUP®) in collaboration with the contracting team.
  • Develop a Patient Assistance Program Tracker to support pricing and contracting efforts.
  • Organize and consolidate a Contract Repository (2020-2025) for streamlined access.
  • Conduct market research on developmental R&D projects and in-license assets to assist with forecasting.
  • Prepare and present a weekly activity report summarizing key tasks and findings.


Preferred Qualifications:


  • Pursuing a degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Pre-Law, or Accounting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive).
  • Comfortable with web-based business technologies and data management tools.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Interest in the pharmaceutical industry and healthcare business operations.


This internship provides a hands-on learning experience in pharmaceutical market access and offers exposure to key industry stakeholders. Interns will develop real-world business skills while contributing to meaningful projects that impact patient access to medication.

Qualifications

Education:


  • High School diploma or GED—Required
  • Current full-time enrollment in an accredited college or university undergraduate or graduate program—Required
  • Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0—Required


Additional Requirements:


  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
  • Must commit to the full 10-12-week duration of the internship.
