Maxor National Pharmacy Services Corporation is seeking a highly competent, customer service oriented, per diem (PRN) Pharmacy Technician to work in the Santa Rita Jail Pharmacy. Maxor manages the pharmacy. No weekends or evening shifts!
Job Summary
The Pharmacy Tech must have good working knowledge of general responsibilities of a pharmacy technician related to filling orders for unit doses, pre-packaging pharmaceuticals, DEA controlled substances, supplemental medications, emergency kits, and general stock requisitions. Will perform various related pharmacy duties including quality improvement activities and staff training. This position will be located within a correctional facility.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Must be nationally certified and registered as a pharmacy technician in California
Experience: A minimum of 1 year of experience in pharmacy operations. Correctional health or inpatient experience preferable.
