Brief Team/department Description
Our Digital team at Azurity is building new capabilities utilizing cutting-edge Salesforce systems. We are looking for a dynamic, change inspired, Individual self-driven hands-on Team Member.
The Salesforce Solution Architect will plays a strategic role in designing, implementing, and optimizing Salesforce solutions tailored to Azurity pharmaceutical needs. This individual is responsible for architecting scalable, compliant, and high-performing CRM solutions that support commercial operations, HCP/HCO engagement, Sales rep Enablement, Medical Affairs, and regulatory compliance.
The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Salesforce Health Cloud, Sales Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Experience Cloud and Veeva CRM, along with a strong understanding of pharma industry workflows and compliance requirements (HIPAA, GDPR, Sunshine Act, FDA, etc.).
Principle Responsibilities - Salesforce Architecture & Solution Design
- Lead the design and architecture of end-to-end Salesforce solutions for pharmaceutical sales, marketing, and medical affairs teams.
- Ensure scalability, performance, and security of the Salesforce platform, following best practices and industry regulations.
- Define data models, integrations, workflows, and automation strategies to streamline business processes.
- Architect multi-cloud Salesforce solutions, including Sales Cloud, Experience Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Maps & Territory Mgmt, CRMA and a future Life Sciences Cloud solution.
- Pharma-Specific CRM Customization & Optimization
- Design solutions for HCP/HCO engagement, field force automation, KOL management, Rep support programs, sample tracking, and compliance reporting.
- Oversee the customization of Salesforce objects, Lightning components, Flows, and Process Builder to enhance CRM capabilities.
- Develop and optimize territory management, consent tracking, and omnichannel engagement strategies.
- Integration & Data Strategy
- Define and implement integrations with third-party pharma systems, including IQVIA, Snowflake, Sales Enablement iRep platforms etc
- Ensure seamless data flow between Salesforce and analytics, master data management (MDM), and marketing automation platforms.
- Establish data governance, security, and compliance frameworks, ensuring adherence to HIPAA, GDPR, and FDA regulations.
- Stakeholder Collaboration & Advisory
- Act as a trusted advisor to business leaders, IT teams, and Salesforce developers, ensuring solutions align with strategic business goals.
- Work closely with Salesforce Admins, Business Analysts, and manage developers to guide solution implementation.
- Lead discovery sessions, technical design workshops, and roadmap planning with key stakeholders.
- Technical Leadership & Best Practices
- Define Salesforce development standards, governance, and best practices across the organization.
- Provide technical leadership and mentoring to Salesforce teams, ensuring high-quality solution delivery.
- Conduct code reviews, performance optimizations, and security audits to maintain system integrity.
- Compliance & Security
- Ensure Salesforce solutions comply with pharmaceutical industry regulations (HIPAA, Sunshine Act, GDPR, FDA, etc.).
- Implement role-based access controls (RBAC), audit trails, and data encryption for sensitive healthcare and patient data.
Preferred Skills And Experience
- 8+ years of Salesforce experience with a focus on solution architecture, CRM design, and system integrations.
- Strong hands on expertise in Sales Cloud, Veeva, Sales Performance Management, CRMA, Health Cloud, Experience Cloud, and Marketing Cloud.
- Deep understanding of pharma-specific processes, including HCP engagement, patient services, medical affairs, and regulatory compliance.
- Experience integrating Salesforce with third-party pharma tools (IQVIA, Snowflake, MDM)
- Hands on in Apex, DevOps, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flows, APIs, and middleware integrations.
- Strong background in data architecture, security, and governance with a focus on HIPAA and GDPR compliance.
- Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA), Application Architect, or System Architect certification required.
- Salesforce Administrator, Salesforce Business Analyst, Salesforce Sales Cloud, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Salesforce Experience Cloud certifications required.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
