As the Supervisor of Talent Acquisition (Operations), you'll play a vital role in driving our talent acquisition strategy and programs for our Operations team while also supporting other functional groups across the Americas. Where You Come In

  • Team Development: You lead and mentor a team of Recruiters, providing guidance and support to ensure they deliver high-quality recruitment outcomes. You foster a collaborative and growth-oriented team culture.
  • Strategic Leadership: You execute on the talent acquisition strategy for the Operations team, focusing on high volume requisitions in alignment with our standards. You collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders to communicate often about hiring needs and priorities.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: You partner with other departments to align talent acquisition efforts with broader organizational goals. You coordinate with hiring managers to streamline processes and optimize recruitment outcomes, and focus on opportunities to pipeline exceptional talent for high volume roles.
  • Process Optimization: You identify opportunities to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the recruitment process for Recruiters within the Operations team. You implement best practices and leverage data to drive continuous improvement.
  • Candidate Experience: You ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process, from application to onboarding. You uphold Dexcom's reputation as an employer of choice by providing a seamless and engaging experience for candidates.
  • Operational Excellence: You oversee day-to-day recruitment operations to support hiring of high volume roles in Manufacturing; including requisition management, job fair event strategy and compliance. You maintain accurate records and provide regular updates on recruitment metrics and KPIs.

What Makes You Successful

  • Industry Experience: You have proven experience developing an effective and balanced hiring strategy for high volume roles – emphasizing candidate experience and compliance.
  • Medical device, biotech, or pharma industry experience preferred, but not required.
  • Strategic Recruitment: You have demonstrated expertise in partnering closely with senior management and leading recruitment efforts for Operations. You have experience in recruiting for Operations positions and high-volume recruiting.
  • Leadership Skills: You have strong supervisory experience with a track record of hiring, performance management, coaching, and team development. You have experience resolving performance issues effectively and fostering a high-performing team culture. You have the ability to influence leaders and effectively advise in order to support a team of recruiters and hiring managers.
  • Talent Attraction: You have experience partnering with trade schools and other organizations to pipeline talent and be a brand evangelist.
  • Analytical Mindset: You have proficiency in using metrics to track progress and inform operational plans. A data-driven approach to talent acquisition is critical for success.

Experience And Education Requirements

  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree with 5-8 years of industry experience
  • Informal management / team lead experience

Flex Workplace: Your primary location will be a home office. You will not have an assigned workstation and will work with your manager to determine office visit needs. You must live within commuting distance of your assigned Dexcom site (typically 75 miles/120km).
