Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced
Travel X-Ray Tech to provide exceptional imaging services to patients in
New Orleans, LA. This position involves operating X-ray equipment, positioning patients, and assisting physicians in diagnosing injuries and illnesses.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic X-ray procedures following physician orders.
- Ensure proper patient positioning and radiation protection.
- Maintain and operate imaging equipment efficiently.
- Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare professionals.
- Document patient information and procedure details accurately.
- Adhere to safety protocols and hospital policies.
Qualifications
- ARRT certification required.
- Active state license for Louisiana (or eligibility to obtain).
- Minimum 1 year of X-ray experience (hospital setting preferred).
- BLS certification required.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, positioning, and radiation safety.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing schedules.
