The Talent Acquisition Recruiter ensures effective resourcing of the company, by assessing the resource required to meet business needs, in conjunction with line managers, following the establishment of resource plans and budgets by the OpsBoard. In addition, ensure the attraction and recruitment of top talent by supporting the recruiting process in the US and UK, including KPIs/ reporting and development of our employer brand.
You Will Be:
- Understand the US resource requirements from the headcount and budget planning process and ensure the overall effective resourcing of all talent to meet these requirements. Regularly and pro-actively, engage with key stakeholders to understand the operational direction of the business to anticipate changing headcount requirements, particularly through understanding any attrition impacts.
- Supporting the global employer brand to attract and retain talent. Publish roles on the careers website, and participate in any social media activities/campaigns to attract talent.
- Supporting early career recruitment in the US (internships, graduates, work experience placements) including attending events such as careers fairs. Co-ordinate assessment centres and support the implementation other graduate recruitment activities. Establish strong relationships with higher education establishments in the US to source work placements, interns, and create high level of collaboration to ensure this is an avenue to talent.
- Working closely with US hiring managers to understand the requirements and expectations of open roles. Source and recruit candidates, in the US, using a variety of outlets, such as job postings and social media, and effectively targeting the right kinds of candidates for the role. Seek out and recommend creative new ways of sourcing talent in order to make best use of the budget available. Handle third party relationships where applicable, to ensure the best level of service, feeding information and KPIs to Talent Acquisition Specialist. Identifying and recommending the appropriate sourcing avenues.
- Managing all administration related to Talent Acquisition in the US; schedule and manage all interviews, prepare and advise candidates and hiring managers for interviews. Review CV’s/resumes, cover letters, assess interview performance complete all pre-screening and screening activities for prospective employees, including completing background checks, generate and track offer letters/contract paperwork, complete references and generally complete all recruitment administration including right to work activities/visa requirements.
- Responsible for the integrity of data entry into applicant tracking systems. Maintain all electronic systems as well as paper systems to the highest accuracy and work to support our recruitment processes and keep them as lean as possible, recommending continuous improvements where possible.
- Creating, maintaining and presenting robust talent acquisition reports capturing cost, MI and employee data used by the HR Team, Ops Board and wider business. Ensure highly accurate budgeting for talent acquisition at all times.
- Maintaining all talent acquisition systems, including updates and new implementations, to reflect changes to HR processes and business needs to ensure the business is provided with reliable cost effective, consistent and meaningful data.
- Championing the employee experience by developing really strong and engaging relationships with prospective talent. Support hiring managers in doing the same, and with their own networks and building pipelines of Talent.,
- Actively support hiring managers in implementing the On-boarding process as well as completing all of own tasks in the process.
- Facilitating a smooth Offboarding process, by ensuring that US employees receives all correct leave processing, paperwork and exit interviews, using the leaver process to establish re-hire suitability as well as to kick start any replacement discussions with the line manager.
- Staying well up to date with trends and the local market place. In particular, keep up to date with competitor information (talent competitors, salary and reward trends and general employer brand good practices) as well as learning from hiring managers.
- Promoting a safe talent acquisition environment that adheres to legislation and best practice.
- Collaborate at all times with the rest of the HR Team, in particular the Talent Acquisition Specialist, to provide a seamless service on all of the above deliverables especially the employer brand and employee experience across Onboarding.
- Supporting any general HR administration (e.g. filing) activities when required.
You Will Bring:
- At least three years’ experience in a high volume, fast paced administration role with at least two years specifically within Talent Acquisition.
- Demonstrate a working, practical and up to date knowledge in the following areas of Talent Acquisition.
- Supporting the full talent acquisition lifecycle in the technology sector.
- On-boarding program delivery.
- Offboarding program delivery.
- Supporting early career talent pipeline activities such as graduate recruitment and Assessment Centres.
- Intern programs, work placement programs.
- HR and Applicant Tracking systems, including reporting capability.
- Policy, legislation and labor law with respect to Talent Acquisition.
- Strong level of attention to detail, including demonstrable ability to produce formal letters. Strong attention to detail to accurately input and process complex data.
- Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint, Applicant Tracking Systems and HRIS and other related system use at intermediate level.
- Effective communication skills both written and verbal across different cultures and use of different versions of English (US/UK).
- Ownership of continual professional development including staying abreast of Talent Acquisition best practices, employment law updates and general Talent Acquisition best practice.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills, able to establish cause and effect and is able to work through all relevant actions based on an event happening.
