Title: IT Project Manager

Location: Waukegan, Illinois

Duration: 12+ Month

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate ongoing project releases within the MES portfolio.
• Oversee program financials, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Ensure accurate and timely status reporting for all projects within the portfolio.
• Conduct gate reviews to assess project progress and adherence to established processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and successful project delivery.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Monitor and manage risks associated with the MES portfolio.
• Provide leadership and guidance to project teams, ensuring adherence to best practices and standards.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Proven experience in managing MES projects and portfolios.
• Strong understanding of MES systems and their implementation.
• Excellent financial management skills, with experience in budgeting and forecasting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• PMP or similar project management certification is a plus.
• Make decisions that impact project-level activities. Influence project-level budget. Education and
• Experience: Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science or related discipline.
• At least 5 yrs. experience in project management, business systems analysis, or software development.
