Overview
Training Coordinator train new trainers, delegate training tasks to new trainers and evaluate performance. Market company training opportunities to employees and provide information on benefits to encourage participation. Inform employees on scheduled training and track their progress. Training Coordinator works with Human Resource and Management to identify training requirements and institutes plans for training new and existing employees. Responsibilities
Summary: The following details the expectations of the training coordinator
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Included the following but not limited to other duties that may be assigned
- Engage with managers and supervisors to analyze training and developmental needs.
- Creates onboarding and training plans for new hires with the hiring manager and follows up to ensure successful integration of the new hire.
- Develop plans, procedures, and programs to meet specific training goals.
- Prepare training materials, schedule and conduct programs.
- Coordinate, document and organize training manuals, reference and other educational material in online ( CPRO system) and physical libraries.
- Monitor training effectiveness and evaluate feedback to drive continuous improvement in skills training and employee access to training opportunities.
- Ensure new developments in training, as well as governmental regulations and human resource practices are integrated into training programs.,
- Coordinate employee 30/60/90-day evaluations, as well as annual performance reviews.
- Ensure adequate capable instructors are available through coordinating with onsite personnel, as well as corporate and external experts.
- Coordinate “Lunch and learns” training sessions as required.
- Drives “standardizing training” to ensure continuity of skills throughout functional areas. This includes both theoretical (classroom) and practical (hands on) training.
- Creating a cadre of skilled trainers to call upon as needed (train the trainer, training templates, etc)
- Promoting a continuous learning and development culture, which is scalable to meet corporate requirements.
- Conducting new employee orientation and ensuring the accurate and timely completion of all required new employee paperwork.
- Maintains knowledge of legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions and ensures policies, procedures, and reporting compliance.
- Support and maintain all policies of the company including but not limited to SQF/ISO Standards, Health and Safety Requirements, Continuous Improvement, and standard work procedures.
- Follow and comply with all safety and work rules and regulations. Maintain departmental housekeeping standards.
- To translate written documentation from one language to another.
- To translate or interpreter between supervisor, managers, employees, with any communications that involves productions, products, quality, safety, employee relations with the upmost confidentiality.
- Temp labor invoices and Account Payable, end of the month time cards for temp labor.
- Obsolescence end of the month report

Education And/or Experience
- General Education High School Diploma with a minimum of five (1-3) years similar Training, Management or Human Resources position.
Language Skills
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, employee policies and procedures, union contract, handbooks, and benefit information. Ability to prepare routine reports and correspondence in Spanish.
Computer Skills
- To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft software and Human Resource systems.
Reasoning Ability
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
