Within our Analytical Services team, we have a functional service provider solution, which is a unique partnership that allows our customers to leverage the experience of our staff, while allowing you, the employee, to gain direct experience working onsite at a pharmaceutical/ biopharmaceutical company, all while maintaining full-time benefits.

The synthetic molecule pharmaceutics group is seeking for a Scientist. The successful candidate will perform research activities in support of early-stage synthetic molecule project.

Key responsibilities:

• Formulation screening with experiences on wet chemistry
• Hands-on experience with HPLC analysis
• Knowledge on peptide on oligonucleotide formulation and analysis will be a plus
• Evaluate a drug candidate with other instruments, including XRPD, DSC, TGA, DVS, and microscope.
• Evaluate formulation stability in various study settings
• Strong ability to work in an interdisciplinary team environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Good documentation practice by using electronic notebook
  
  

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in lab sciences such as Chemistry, Biochemistry, Bioengineering, or Biology
• Scientist: Previous experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job (comparable to 2+ years’)
• OR Masters degree
  
  

In some cases, an equivalency, consisting of a combination of appropriate education, training and/or directly related experience, will be considered sufficient for an individual to meet the requirements of the role.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• 2+ year lab experience
• Experience with wet chemistry, HPLC, XRPD, DSC, TGA, DVS and microscope
• Good learner and good team player

Compensation And Benefits

The hourly pay range estimated for this position based in California is $32.89–$39.99.
