Join our dynamic team as the Global Executive Protection Director, where you will play a crucial role in safeguarding our CEO and Executive Leadership. Under the guidance of the Senior Director of Corporate Security and Investigations, you will develop and implement innovative executive protection strategies tailored to our organization's needs. Your responsibilities will include conducting thorough risk assessments and coordinating security measures to ensure the utmost safety for our executives.
In this collaborative position, you will work closely with trusted security vendors and engage with key internal and external stakeholders, including Global Security, Human Resources, Legal, Global Business Resilience, and the Office of the CEO. - This role will require up to 50% travel to both domestic and international locations.
- Manage Executive Protection of the CEO and Executive Leadership Team
- Collaborate with internal/external stakeholders to effectively gauge security risk during travel, to include international
- Process improvements to include Executive Protection SOP’s and guidelines
- Responsible for team career development and training
- Develop strong working relationships with management at all levels
- Collaborate cross functionally with internal/external stakeholders, executive drivers, external security, law enforcement and security vendors
- Partner with internal/external stakeholders to integrate executive security into larger scale events and ensure a comprehensive security approach
- Manages protective programs to include personal protection, corporate events, residential environments, air transportation and special projects.
- Assess, plan and document security advances and risk assessments
- Provide security coverage at offsite meetings, dinners and events when necessary
- Assist with residential security upgrades, recommendations and enhancements
- Create and author security advisories and status reports to members of the ELT.
- Ensure protective equipment, communications equipment and medical equipment is maintained and in good working order
- Maintain strictest confidentiality regarding information heard directly or indirectly
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 10+ years of progressively responsible experience in roles related to Corporate Security, Intelligence, Law Enforcement or Military
- Must meet eligibility requirements of HR-218 (Law Enforcement Officers Safety Act)
- Must be in compliance with the Lautenberg Amendment and be able to pass a comprehensive background check
- Possess or able to obtain within 90 days PA ACT 235 lethal weapons training certification
- Maintain firearm proficiency and qualifications in accordance with state, local and federal regulations
- Experience using case management systems
- Eligible to work in the United States
- Excellent oral communication and inter-personal skills
- Excellent written communication skills
- Prior managerial and leadership experience
- Must be able to obtain international travel documents such as a U.S. Passport and possess a valid U.S driver’s license
- Strong physical fitness with capability of working in physically demanding and high-pressure environments.
- Possess or able to obtain CPR AED and Basic first aid certifications
- Proven ability to work with highly confidential information and interact comfortably with Executive level leadership.
