The primary purpose of the
Senior Events Management Specialist is to plan, develop, and implement impactful customer events, both internal and external, that support Zebra's business objectives. This role is responsible for all activities and assignments associated with events, including ensuring all roles are clearly defined, event timelines are met, budgets are not exceeded, and post event evaluations are compiled to continually evolve and improve. This role may also coordinate meeting and event logistics including, food and beverage requirements/selection, transportation, audio-visual, activities, etc. as deemed necessary.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for project managing and executing all aspects of North America trade shows and events, including logistics, registration, booth design and property management, equipment displays, catering, transportation, accommodation, etc.
- Manages and negotiates with external agencies, including DMCs, logistics and build vendors
- Coordinates with vertical and product marketers to ensure correct messaging, demos, and products for each event
- Manages internal communication to stakeholders, including management of weekly status and coordination calls
- Develops and maintains the event calendar and budget, ensuring expenses do not exceed approved budget.
- Ability to manage multiple projects events simultaneously
- Attends events and act as onsite contact for the leadership, sales and marketing teams, overseeing and executing event setup and onsite logistics
- Works with other marketing associates on all event-related communications
- Analyzes and evaluates the effectiveness of event tactics and suggests strategies to enhance the experience
- Executes sponsorship opportunities for strategy and revenue purposes
- Acts as conduit into the brand/creative team to ensure adherence to Company guidelines
- Has thorough understanding of lead process, and interlocks with core marketing delivery agents

Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required
- 5+ years of relevant work experience within events/tradeshow planning and execution
- 25% travel is required in North America
Preferred Skills and Competencies:
- Experienced marketer with solid understanding of marketing planning, execution, and measurement best practices
- Proven ability to create shared vision across multiple stakeholder teams and provide confident leadership to teams with strategic objectives
- Solid strategic program management experience including the ability to set and drive requirements across multiple functional arenas
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking including the ability to create insights and drive planning from diverse sets of data
- Strong budget execution skills, negotiating tactics, and vendor management skills. Experience managing event budgets in excess of $100K
- Excellent communication as well as interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills are required
- Self-motivated and directed person, requiring minimal supervision for successful assignment completion
- Excellent project management skills and the ability to work collaboratively across the business
- Ability to work at all levels and will be comfortable presenting at c-suite level

Salary: USD 84400.00 - USD 126600.00 Yearly
Salary offered will vary depending on your location, job-related skills, knowledge, and experience.
