Eurofins Agroscience Services is searching for an Assistant Scientist I, Aquatics to work in Easton, MD. Recent/upcoming graduates are encouraged to apply.
Assistant Scientist responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Carries out routine experiments and procedures in accordance with all applicable regulatory (e.g. DEA, EPA, FDA, FIFRA, OECD, etc.) requirements as defined by protocol, method, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Assist/run toxicology studies, including preparing test solutions and daily maintenance of test systems.
Feed, water, and examine animals for signs of illness, disease, or injury sustained in the laboratory.
Must be comfortable with handling live animals.
Collect and analyze biological data.
Performs analysis, first level, and peer review of data for accuracy and completeness.
Provide guidance to technicians on the proper conduct of study assignments.
May assist in preparation of data and final reports for completed projects or studies.
