Job Description
The Operations Assistant will be responsible for performing routine and nonroutine tasks such as kit packaging, inventory, shipping, receiving and facilities maintenance.
Qualifications
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Prepares products for shipment
Maintains the on-site laboratory supplies storage room
Conducts inventory maintenance and regular cycle counts
Performs shipping and receiving of products
Assists in the manufacturing service functions including labeling, kit packaging, lab ware cleaning, liquid nitrogen tanks maintenance, etc.
Other duties as outlined and required for the smooth functioning of the group and the organization
Demonstrates and promotes the company vision
Regular attendance and punctuality
Applies GMP/GLP in all areas of responsibility, as appropriate
Conducts all activities in a safe and efficient manner
Performs other duties as assigned
Owns the accountability and responsibility of delivering to client needs and timeliness
Provides cross-functional support to other departments as required
Adjusts work hours as needed to meet client deadlines
Adheres to site employee health and safety (EHS) requirements
Education/Experience (BMQ)
AA/AS in biological or biotechnology sciences, or
High School Diploma and a minimum 1 year related industry experience
Ability And/or Skills (BMQ)
Detail oriented
Familiar with basic computer skills
Ability to lift objects up to 25 lbs.
Willing to learn new skills
Ability to work in a team environment
