We are seeking a dedicated Order Entry Pharmacy Technician to join our team in Baltimore, MD. This role will require flexibility, including rotating weekends and holidays. The ideal candidate will have experience in high-volume retail pharmacy settings and be passionate about providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
Swiftly and accurately enter prescriptions into the system.
Communicate with customers over the phone, providing prompt and courteous responses to their needs.
Efficient order entry and follow-up, ensuring all information is accurate and complete.
Troubleshoot prescription and patient data entry discrepancies.
Collaborate with Order Entry leadership to meet departmental goals.
Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements:
MD Pharmacy Technician License is required.
PTCB/National Certification is a plus.
1-2 years of experience in high-volume retail order entry to keep pace with a fast-paced work environment.
Strong attention to detail and ability to troubleshoot discrepancies quickly.
