Job Description
Soliantis seeking dedicated and passionate Special Education (SPED) Teachers to join our team for the upcoming school year. Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with disabilities.
Adapt teaching methods and instructional materials to meet students' varying needs and interests.
Assess students skills and determine their educational needs.
Collaborate with other teachers, staff, and parents to ensure students success.
Monitor students' progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.
Maintain accurate and complete student records as required by laws, district policies, and administrative regulations.
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports the academic and social development of all students.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field.
Valid VA teaching license with a Special Education endorsement.
Experience working with students with special needs.
Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with a team.
Commitment to ongoing professional development.
Preferred Qualifications
Masters degree in Special Education.
Experience with a diverse student population.
Knowledge of current trends and best practices in special education.
Proficiency in assistive technology and adaptive tools for students with disabilities.
