Base pay range

$68,500.00/yr - $116,300.00/yr

Summary

In this role, you will support Service Line intelligence teams with research, data analysis, and content development for Health Systems and Life Sciences organizations. You will track and translate national and market level trends, technological advancements, and novel care delivery models to develop successful future-focused strategies our clients rely on for long-term sustainability and growth.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Sg2 service line subject matter experts and client service teams to provide high-quality, timely responses to providers through written materials, presentations, and phone communication.
  • Demonstrate strong research skills and ability to assess service line operations and clinical care delivery models, synthesize health policy reports and industry trends, interpret scientific literature and clinical research studies, and analyze large data sets.
  • Ability to explore large, disparate, and dynamic data sources (both internal Vizient/Sg2 and external sources) to develop insights across multiple service lines.
  • Assist in the development of analytical solutions, thought leadership deliverables (e.g. expert posts, briefings, publications, etc.), presentations, webinars, and podcasts.
  • Synthesize and translate research and data analyses into relevant service line impacts to inform thought leadership materials and the annual update to Sg2’s analytics tools, including the Impact of Change Demand Forecasting Model.
  • Demonstrate critical and creative thinking by proactively sharing your perspective and encouraging the team to explore alternative approaches.

Qualifications

  • Relevant degree preferred. Advanced degree in an applied healthcare field such as clinical services, biological/biomedical sciences, economics, or health / business administration preferred.
  • 2 or more years of relevant work experience required.
  • Advance knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel required.
  • Experience in Orthopedics, Cardiovascular, Cancer, or Neurosciences research; service line operations, or life sciences preferred.
  • Experience with Power BI and strong data visualization skills preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills preferred.
  • Experience working with healthcare data within a hospital, healthcare payer, or life sciences company preferred.
  • Ability to meet rigorous deadlines, balance multiple priorities and achieve high levels of productivity while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
  • Willingness to travel.

Estimated Hiring Range

At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $68,500.00 to $116,300.00.

This position is also incentive eligible.
