Pharmacists Mutual Insurance has an opening for a Marketing Insurance Copy Writer or Content Creator. This role will develop high-quality copy for websites, social media, marketing materials, and other platforms. The position writes and edits clear, concise copy, including, but not limited to, promotional and advertising materials, PowerPoint presentations, news and blog articles, web content, email and letter notifications, press releases, and executive talking points. Under the guidance of the department and executive leadership, the Content Creator builds a deep understanding of business priorities and culture to ensure messaging aligns with desired outcomes. The Content Creator assists the marketing team in promoting and supporting Pharmacists Mutual's position as a leader in specialty insurance solutions for pharmacy, dental, veterinary, and home health care.

Essential Functions
Essential functions may include, but are not limited, to the following
- Draft, edit, and review promotional content for materials, website, reports, blogs, newsletters, proposals, social media, and press.
- Collaborate and advise team members on the development of messages that resonate with multiple audiences—including content planning and reviewing content for appropriate messaging.
- Review print and web content, media, audiovisual communications, and other related Pharmacists Mutual communication materials - checking for editorial style and brand guide compliance as well as errors in spelling, punctuation, and grammar.
- Make significant contributions, uphold, and enforce Pharmacists Mutual's branding and style guide to maximize the impact of content they generate efficiently
- Promote company offerings to reach new audiences.
- Use search engine optimization (SEO) best practices to drive traffic to Pharmacists Mutual’s digital channels.
- Assist with presentation materials for events and conferences.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with staff on new ideas, directions, and venues for marketing and communications.
- Research market trends and developments relevant to campaign subject matter.
- Maximize consumer engagement with marketing content.
- Research and understand competitor marketing content and share learnings with coworkers and stakeholders to consistently deliver excellence.

Experience and Education Qualifications
Content Creator
- High School Diploma or equivalent and 7 years of related experience; or
- Associate’s Degree and 5 years of related experience; or
- Bachelor's Degree and 3 years of related experience; or
- Master's Degree
Preferred Qualifications
- A completed undergraduate degree, preferably in a related field (e.g., English, Communications, Communication Design, Journalism, Marketing, or a closely related field)
- Experience and understanding of insurance products and coverages
- Experience with project management technology such as Asana, Basecamp, Confluence, or Jira
- Experience with a CRM program such as HubSpot, SalesForce, or Oracle
- Experience with Word Oress
- Significant experience creating high-quality marketing content
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft 365 or Microsoft products
- Comprehensive understanding of impactful marketing tactics
