Our team is growing! AAP is currently looking for a highly motivated Business Advisor in the Spokane, WA area to represent Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, and Washington.
Objective:
An effective Territory Manager (TM) will grow the assigned territory through outside and inside sales in the dynamic retail independent pharmacy market. A successful TM will build relationships with external business partners and work collaboratively to achieve shared success. Sales presentations and business reviews will be made in person to owners and stakeholders to secure new business and increase existing business. 80% travel within the assigned territory and 50% overnight travel expected.
Responsibilities:
- Increase AAP membership and API warehouse sales
- Retain AAP members by maintaining a consistent sales call schedule and providing valuable insight on the retail pharmacy industry to owners/stakeholders
- Increase managed care (PSAO) enrollment
- Grow key strategic AAP programs
- Understand current industry trends, events, legislature and managed care influences to keep owners/stakeholders up to date
- Maintain customer relationship management (CRM) software with timely and insightful information for both members and prospects
- Manage assigned territory in an efficient, cost-effective manner
- Present a professional image of AAP
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Two (2) or more years outside sales experience demonstrating top performance
- Retail independent pharmacy experience preferred
- Pharmacy managed care experience preferred
- Give effective and persuasive presentations, both in person and remotely
- Demonstrated listening skills that communicates you understand others’ perspectives and
- needs
- Financial and mathematics acumen to present financial analyses
- Microsoft Excel proficiency
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to define, diagnose and solve problems
- Pipeline and time management skills
