- BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area.
- 2+ years' experience developing commercial software in a distributed environment.
- Strong knowledge of multiple programming languages Java, Go, Python.
- Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, operating systems, and distributed systems fundamentals.
- Strong understanding of databases, storage, and persistent technologies.
- Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and performance-tuning skills.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to adapt and learn in dynamic & fast-paced environments
- Experience in cloud development concepts like micro-services, SaaS, and distributed cloud services is required.

Responsibilities
You will collaborate with a dynamic team to create new features and tools for the Storage Service while also enhancing and maintaining existing offerings. The role involves diverse duties that require independent decision-making. You will engage in software development tasks, including developing, debugging, and designing software applications. We also anticipate that this position will significantly contribute to both new service offerings and improvements to current storage services. You will develop a solid understanding of distributed systems and software architecture.

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $73,700 - $158,200 per year. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

- Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
