The Product Management team is responsible for determining Zebra’s product offerings and driving development, launch, and adoption of product to positively impact the customer’s’ experience and market share. The scope of this role is product management for handheld devices accessories manufactured by third-party partners in Zebra’s ecosystem .

This is a hybrid position requiring three days per week of in-office work at our Holtsville, NY location.

Responsibilities:

  • Develops general knowledge of market, competitive landscape, customer requirements, distribution channels and Zebra offerings for assigned product(s)
  • Builds relationship with existing manufacturing partners for accessories and executes on surrounding Zebra products with a robust ecosystem of third-party accessories.
  • Monitors and tracks the incremental revenue generated by Zebra reselling third-party accessories to ensure we meet or exceed annual operating plans.
  • Updating Accessories Guides and working with Marketing / IT to ensure Zebra Solutions Pathway pages (partner portal) for accessories are updated with relevant images / descriptions.
  • Issuing Distributor Notices and Product Marketing Bulletins for changes in portfolio (e.g., new releases and product obsolescence).
  • Generating reports to measure performance (revenue, gross margin, attach rate, YoY growth).
  • Working with the team to understand exposure from excess and obsolete inventory and devise mitigation plans / strategies.
  • Contributes to development and presentation of routine business cases by completing supportive research and other tasks under the supervision of senior team members
  • Develops product lifecycle knowledge for assigned product lines
  • Assists with complete or partial product offer definitions, rallies teams to create the product offer following Zebra’s New Product Introduction (NPI) processes, assists in the coordination of post launch activities such as sales support, bid and quote support, and customer presentations
  • Participates in product launch activities as part of a cross functional team. May be assigned tasks associated with SKU setup, pricing review, ROI model creation, or providing marketing collateral input and feedback, conducting training and webinars and occasional customer presentations
  • Assists in trade shows , customer demonstrations , and Quarterly Business Reviews as needed
  • Contributes to innovation by generating ideas / thinking outside the box

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering (STEM) or Business.
  • Power User of MS Excel and Power Point
  • Prior internship in Product Management is highly preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2 years’ experience in Product Management
  • Knowledge of Product lifecycle
  • Familiarity with MS Power BI

Salary: USD 59800.00 - USD 89800.00 Yearly

Salary offered will vary depending on your location, job-related skills, knowledge, and experience.

Additionally, all Zebra roles are eligible for cash incentive programs. For example, sales roles have additional opportunity to earn substantial variable compensation tied to quota achievement. In most other roles, the Zebra annual cash incentive program links Company and individual performance together. Some roles may also be eligible for long-term incentive equity awards.
