Description
As a
Packaging Technician Lead, you play a critical role in guiding a dedicated team of technicians to ensure the efficient and accurate repackaging of products. Under the direction of the Supervisor, you will lead by example, demonstrating a strong commitment to maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and excellence in all operations. You will oversee product flow, ensuring accuracy in label checks and verification, while fostering a supportive and collaborative work environment.
What your day-to-day will look like:
- Care: You will proactively support your team by identifying any attendance or performance concerns, bringing them to the Supervisor’s attention. Your compassionate leadership will foster a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
- Commitment: You will ensure that daily production requirements are met by efficiently prioritizing tasks, balancing the workload, and stepping in to operate equipment when necessary. Your unwavering commitment to team success will ensure that products are finished and shipped on time.
- Excellence: You will assist the Supervisor in maintaining a safe and compliant work environment by ensuring the repackaging area meets OSHA standards, and promptly reporting any accidents. Your dedication to operational excellence will drive the team's adherence to cGMP requirements and the overall success of the department.
- Fostering Growth: As a mentor, you will cross-train employees and support new hires to achieve performance goals. You will encourage continuous learning and personal development to maintain a high level of skill and knowledge within the team.
- Collaboration: You will maintain an open line of communication with the Supervisor to provide key insights into packaging performance, as well as ensure that the work area is well-equipped with the necessary supplies to facilitate smooth operations.

Qualifications
What you bring to the table:
Education & Experience:
- Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician, pharmaceutical packaging, in-hospital pharmacy, or in the healthcare industry preferred.
- Certified Pharmaceutical Technician desired.
- High School Degree/GED required.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- National Pharmacy Technician Certification preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Working knowledge of computer hardware, PC Windows.
- Working knowledge of mechanical packaging equipment.
- Strong organizational skills, reliable, and efficient.
