Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role based in Houston, TX for a Technical Service Representative at DESIGN CONTROLS LLC. The Technical Service Representative will be responsible for working in a team setting, providing technical support
and heat exchanger data collection in a variety of locations throughout North America and the surrounding greater Houston area.
Responsibilities include meeting all requirements to enter multiple petroleum and refinery facilities across North America, following strict guidelines on behavior and etiquette, while using the latest technology to collect sensitive data points on industrial equipment.
This position is "hybrid" in that it requires 50% travel, alternating between one week home (Houston) and one week away.
Qualifications
TWIC CARD REQUIRED
Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions (heat, cold, rain)
50% travel required
Working with and around hazardous chemicals and gases
SAFETY ORIENTED
Troubleshooting skills
DISA clearance required
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Experience in a similar role is preferred
Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations
Must be able to pass initial and randomized drug screenings
Some overtime required
