Full Time - Staff Floater Pharmacist
Exciting new opportunity for a Full Time Staff Floater Pharmacist to work full time within our retail and specialty pharmacies located throughout the Bronx, Long Island City, Jamaica/Queens, and Far Rockaway. We’re looking for a caring, customer service oriented pharmacist to join our growing company. Responsibilities
Responsible for performing all of the dispensing duties of a pharmacist, that all customers receive safe and accurate dispensing, and for adhering to all State and Federal Pharmacy laws regarding the dispensing of medications, record keeping, etc. Successful candidate will also be responsible for expanding and enhancing clinical services in the ambulatory care setting including MTM in this position. Pharmacist will precept pharmacy students and residents and serve as a drug information resource to patients and other healthcare professionals.
Qualifications
Successful candidates will possess the following education and experience necessary for this position:
Education:
- Graduate of an accredited college of pharmacy
- Pharm D or equivalent demonstrated experience required
- Current/Clear New York Pharmacist license
Experience:
- Prior experience working in a fast paced retail setting
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills;
- Ability to work effectively with a multi-disciplinary team;
- Effective written and verbal communication skills;
- Prior knowledge of local, state, and federal accrediting body and OSHA rules and regulations preferred.
